This model is a Volkswagen T6 'Edition 30' in a white
colour.
It is a model in the NZG 1:18 scale programme.
Packaging
The model comes in an NZG branded outer box, and inside
the model is contained within expanded polystyrene
trays.
The review model had no defects or missing parts.
An instruction sheet is included together with a some
parts which can be fitted.
Detail
The floor pan has the suspension and exhaust system
modelled.
The wheels are excellent, and the disc brakes are
visible behind the spokes. Nice tyres are fitted.
At the front the Volkswagen emblem is modelled in chrome, and the headlights look realistic.
There is a dummy NZG number plate.
Inside, the detail is excellent and includes a detailed
steering wheel, console and door interiors.
The paint finish is excellent and the roof has a clear sun roof panel.
At the rear the lights are high quality and the overall
appearance is very good.
Features
The steering works to a moderate angle, and there is
sprung suspension on each wheel.
The front doors open to a wide angle.
The sliding rear doors work well.
The tailgate opens.
The engine hood can be opened to reveal a detailed
engine.
The centre seats have adjustable arm rests and seat
backs. They can be slid forwards and backwards and they
can be fully rotated also.
The rear seats have a reclining back and the whole
assembly moves forwards and backwards.
A rear parcel shelf can be fitted, and the the centre
circular table can be fitted in open or closed mode.
Quality
This is a high quality NZG's model with a
high metal content.
The paintwork and graphics are excellent.
Price
The model is reasonable value given the many features of
the model.
Overall
NZg has produced an excellent model of the T6 with lots
of interesting functionality. It looks great on
its own or on a Lohr car transporter.
