The Wacker Neuson TH755 Telehandler weighs around 10.5 tonnes.
This model is 1:32 scale.
Packaging
The model comes in a
Wacker Neuson branded box and is wrapped in soft paper and
contained in a
pair of expanded polystyrene trays.
There
were no missing parts or defects on the review model.
There is no information about the model or the real machine.
A spare beacon light, pins and a spring is included.
Detail
Starting underneath, the
transmission and axles are modelled in detail, and there
is some detailing in the castings. The tyres have
an impressive tread pattern and they are mounted on nice
wheels which are detailed on the outer faces.
The wheel arches are plastic, probably reflecting the
real machine.
The
cab has a beacon light and work lights, and the
windscreen wipers are very thin. There is a plastic
protection guard on the roof. The window frames have
realistic seals and there are graphics on the windows. Inside the cab the
larger scale enables detailed controls to be modelled
and it looks good.
Below the cab there is a highlighted filler cab and
textured steps, and a maximum speed sign. Behind
the cab there is another filler cab and a wheel chock,
and a hydraulic hose connection runs to the boom.
At the rear of the body there
are twin light stalks and counterweight blocks.
There is a non-useable towing hitch.
The curved engine cover has sharp graphics and the
exhaust protrudes from the rear. A large mirror
support is in soft plastic with nicely silvered mirrors.
The boom has hydraulic pipes highlighted on the
underside and there are work lights at the top.
There are warning graphics and the attachment connector
plate is metal with tiny friction pin connections.
The forks are metal.
Features
The
model rolls well as it has a nice solid weight.
Both axles steer to a good angle, and the rear one has
significant oscillation to cope with rough ground.
The
boom elevates to a steep angle and the rams are stiff
and hold any pose. The telescopic section extends
smoothly and locks at full extension.
The attachment plate has a full range of up and down
movement allowing the bucket to achieve very good
tipping and carry angles.
The forks are adjustable and can be removed by taking
out the four connecting pins.
Quality
This is a high quality model
with a high metal content where you would expect it.
The graphics and paintwork are excellent.
Price
It is good value.
Overall
This model has a high quality feel and looks very
realistic. As usual for NZG, both the
functionality and the detailing are of a high standard.
Footnotes
The model was released the Bauma Exhibition in April 2019.
Slightly different versions were produced as the Kramer
KT557 (model #986) and Kramer 5507 (model #987).
