It is in the colours of the Dutch haulage company Doornbos.

Packaging

It comes in a standard WSI-branded windowed box with the model held in plastic formers within an expanded polystyrene tray.

There were no defects or missing parts on the review model.

There are no instructions for the model, or information about the real truck.

Detail

The chassis is a 6x4 with the transmission and suspension modelled to a high standard and the gearbox has a gold finish.  The wheels are very detailed with different tyres on the steering and driven axles.

The elevated roof has two see-through windows which is a nice touch, and there are air horns and lights.  The grille looks realistic and there is a silver bulldog mascot. The graphics include an accurate number plate.  There is a fleet number on the cab sides and a chrome grab rails and chrome door handles and locks add a touch of realism.

The cab interior is very good andunder the cab is a detailed engine with a gold finish.

Behind the cab are intake and exhaust stacks, and coiled lines and a nice spot light.

At the back the lights are represented well, and there are large rigid mud flaps bearing the Mack logo.

The ballast box is a metal part with the side boards painted to represent timber infills.  The plastic tarpaulin cover has realistic patterning.

Features

The steering turns to a moderate angle before the wheels are fouled.

The cab tilts forward to about 45° and can be posed in the tilted position.

The pin can be removed from the front hitch.

The ballast box is removable, and the canopy can be detached.

Quality

This is a high quality model which is well made.

The paintwork and graphics are very good.

Price

The model is reasonable value for a limited edition.

Overall

This is a nice model of the Mack F700. It would have been nice to have had some information about the historic real truck provided with the model.
