This model is the electric version of the  Volvo ECR25 Compact Excavator.  It has an operating weight of 2.7 tonnes.   Packaging The model comes in a box with a picture of the real machine.  It has a front flap which allows the model to be seen inside.  The model is held within a pair of trays. There were no missing parts or defects on the review model.  There is some technical information about the real machine printed on the box.  There is no information about the model. Detail The underside has a simple base plate with large screws visible.   The rubber tracks have good patterning.  There is a metal dozing and stabilising blade at the front. At the rear the counterweight replicates the real machine very well and has small warning graphics.  On one side is the plug in point for the electric supply.  On the other side a grille is modelled by texturing. The cab has got nicely formed windows with seals and there are work lights and a beacon light on the roof.  The inside is well detailed including chrome pedals and steering levers. The three part boom and stick has good graphics applied.  The hydraulics modelling is simple with no hoses modelled. The bucket is a decent casting with the Volvo name appearing on each side. Features The rubber tracks can roll but are stiff initially.  The blade can be raised and lowered. The cab door opens widely. It rotates well. The three part boom and bucket movement is generally good.  Sideways movement of the boom is modelled but with limited movement. Quality The model has a high metal content with plastic used appropriately. The paintwork and graphics are very good. Price It is fair value. Overall This small machine looks good in 1:32 scale.  It has decent detailing and functionality, but would have benefitted from better hydraulic detailing and a removable bucket. Footnotes The model first appeared in 2022.   It is a small machine. Simple underneath. Nice casting at the back. No hydraulic hoses. Opening cab door. On the road.   Good for smaller jobs.
