Detail
The underside has the drive train modelled in plastic
with the body being basic. The chunky tyres look
good and they are mounted on nice wheels. The
tyres have very good branding in the sidewalls.
At the rear there
is a large graphic on the top surface with rear end
being nicely formed with a small Volvo badge. The
counterweight has inset plastic lights. Sharp
graphics are on each side.
The wheel arches on both sides are modelled in plastic.
The cab windows have seals and there is an aerial and a beacon light on the roof.
There are large wipers front and rear and plastic
mirrors. The inside is well detailed with
instruments and controls.
The loader arm has some discrete riveted connections
with others being larger, and soft
hydraulic hoses give a busy appearance. The
graphics are sharp including Volvo on the sides of the
bucket.
The metal bucket is simple casting.
Features
The wheels roll individually.
Steering across the pivot point achieves a good angle.
There is some rotation possible at the pivot point.
The cab door opens fully.
The loader arm achieves a good height and there are decent cut and
carry angles on the bucket..
Quality
The model has a reasonably high metal content with some plastic
used.
The paintwork and graphics are very good.
Price
It is fair value.
Overall
This is an interesting model of a smaller electric
machine. It would have been nice to have an
optional forks attachment but overall it is well made and looks realistic in
1:32 scale.
Footnotes
The model first appeared in 2022.
