This review is of a model of a
Rogers 90T Beam Trailer.
It is in the colours of Mammoet.
Packaging
It comes in an outer shipping carton which encloses a
Mammoet branded box. The
model is held within a tray with a plastic former lid.
There were no missing parts or defects on the review model.
Included are tools and bags containing a variety of
accessories and spare parts.
There is no information about the real trailer but a
comprehensive instruction sheet describes the
functionality of the model.
Detail
The underside of the trailer is fairly simple and
probably reflects the real trailer. The landing
leg has a metal pad and smooth hydraulic pistons.
The gooseneck has holes for the connection of hoses from
a tractor. The edges of the gooseneck bear the Mammoet
name. The top
surface is textured and has useable tie-down points.
On one side there is a spare wheel with securing chain
and on the opposite side the adjustment handle is modelled.
The trailer beams have an excellent fine mesh platform
between them. There are useable tie-downs on the inside
and outside edges of each beam. Hoses run down the
inside and there are hose connections at each end. The
outside of the beams have white dotted stripe
decoration.
The axles have detailed suspension modelling, and the
decorated wheels have tyres with a good tread pattern.
At the rear there are large soft mud flaps, nice lights
but no licence plate.
A variety of high quality accessories are provide
including wheel chocks, timbers, cones, a fire
extinguisher, and spare tyres. Oversize load signs
are included but it is not clear how these could be
mounted on the trailer. Of particular value are securing
chains in three different lengths, with binders.
Features
The wheels roll very well. The axle assemblies are
removable.
The landing leg can be lowered and it will support the
weight of the trailer.
The gooseneck can be detached and it is great that the
gooseneck handle actually works. Shims are
included to enable the gooseneck / deck angle to be
adjusted.
A different king pin can be fitted to the gooseneck.
Quality
This is high quality model, with a high
metal content.
The paint work and artwork are excellent.
Price
This is a very high quality model which is reflected in the
price.
Overall
This version of the Rogers 90T Beam Trailer is a welcome
addition to the Mammoet programme. It is a very
high quality model. It pairs well with a Mammoet
Mack RD800 model.
Footnotes
This model appeared in October 2025. It was released in
a
run of 300 models.
