This is a model of an FTF 6x4 in the colours of
Magnaload.
The real truck was used in the 1960s and 70s for the movement of heavy transport loads in the
UK.
This model is modelled in resin, and has no diecast
parts.
Packaging
The model comes in a Mammoet-branded box
which encloses a Perspex display case.
The review model had no missing parts or defects.
A uniquely numbered Mammoet certificate is
included, but there is no information describing the
history of the real
truck.
Detail
The model comes in a good quality display case and the
base has the unique serial number for the model in the
production run which matches that on the included
collector card.
There is a detailed chassis with the drive shafts and
axles being detailed. The tyres have the same
tread pattern. They have Michelin branding on the
sidewalls.
At the front the detailing is excellent with high quality
graphics. There is are chevrons on
the bumper, a realistic number plate, and a .
towing hitch.
A particular highlight is the exceptionally thin
handrails and grab rails around the model.
The cab continues the high detail with the steering
wheel being in the accurate left hand drive formation.
There are thin grab rails and the door handles are
detailed.
Behind the cab there are twin exhausts and a spare wheel
hung underneath. A pair of winches is modelled.
The ballast box has a replica tarpaulin top and sharp
Magnaload graphics.
At the rear the lights have lenses and there is another towing hitch.
A winch chain is secured at the back.
Features
As a resin model there is very limited functionality.
The model can be carefully removed from the display case
to display on its own or as part of a diorama.
The wheels rotate and the model rolls smoothly.
There is steering with a good range movement.
Quality
This is a high quality model with exceptional
detailing.
The paint finish and graphics are also high quality.
Price
It is a very limited edition and is reasonable
value.
Overall
This is a great looking model of a historic
truck.
The use of resin allows a very high standard of
detailing and the model is well presented in its own
display case.
Footnotes
The model appeared in February 2026 and was made in a
run of 300 models.
