Nuremberg Toy Fair 2011
Editorial February 2011

The Nuremberg Toy Fair 2011 was held between the 3rd and 8th February.  The new entrance to the exhibition centre is now complete so it is an even better venue for this massive show.

In summary the show was very interesting with many new models from YCC and Conrad, with other makers having fewer.  Existing models in special liveries was a continuing theme and surprisingly there was not one new Liebherr model (setting aside add-on kits).  Most exhibitors reported that business at the show had been good, although there is no doubt that rising costs in China will affect the end prices of models and maybe makers based in Europe will regain some advantage.
