Nuremberg 2013 - WSI
Editorial February 2013

Editorial   Conrad   NZG   Others   WSI

WSI displayed the Faun ATF 70G-4 mobile crane, Terberg tippers and Fassi and Palfinger knucklebooms.  However the surprise was the huge Drake trailer shown as a prototype.  As expected there was a wide variety of trucks in all colours and combinations, and the 1:87 scale Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 was wearing colours too.  The Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 was proudly on display with numerous improvements made to the first run of the model.  The improved version should be available soon.  As with other manufacturers expect some significant and impressive releases across all sectors.

Also significant is WSI's new marketing arrangement with Tonkin Replicas and the formation of Diecast Holdings.  This will impact Tonkin's new Caterpillar models and other opportunities for both WSI and Tonkin.
