Nuremberg 2015 - Tonkin
Editorial February 2015

Tonkin had a larger stand this year and the President of Tonkin Inc, Erik Anderson, was also in attendance.  The license with Nooteboom is starting to bear fruit with the MCO-PX now ready and to be on sale imminently.  Although the release has taken longer than anticipated, the time has been spent to aim for high quality.  Further Nooteboom models are in development.  The Caterpillar scrapers look very good as do the new Link-Belt cranes and the next Kobelco crane.  Tonkin is doing well with securing licences - two new cranes for Terex will come and Tonkin also has obtained a license from Manitowoc.  It is not difficult to imagine that something may also come for other OEMs, perhaps Liebherr.
