| This paperback book covers oversize trucking and consists of a large number of high quality photos of various vehicles which have been photographed in the Western United States. Each photo is annotated with technical information about the vehicle and the company operating it. It would have been nicer if each photo also had the date it was taken listed.
A variety of trucks are covered including super haul, over length and low beds, and there are also sections which include tankers and hoppers amongst others. Some of the photos show remarkable vehicles. A later part of the book is given over to haulage scale models with more high quality photos.
The quality of the book is high, with the photos looking particularly sharp on the nice glossy paper used.
This book will interest people who like contemporary photos of American heavy haulage. It is great for browsing through and would make a good gift. As this is volume 1 perhaps more volumes will follow.
