						| Comment on this model.
This model from Conrad has no indication of the original
machine on the model or the packaging but appears to be
based on the Case CX 250.

This version of the model is in the colours of
						Cardem which
						is part of the

						VINCI Group.

 Packaging

The model comes in a Conrad branded box and it
is contained within a foam wrapping.

The review model had no defects or missing parts.

There is no information about the
real machine.  Assembly is limited to the
attachment of a couple of mirrors.

 Detail

The tracks are metal and they sit on track frames which
are reasonably detailed although there are no moving
parts other than the sprockets.  The rivet on the main
drive sprocket affects the look of the model a little.
						There is no detailing underneath.

The body is metal and the casting has a reasonable level
of detail within it, and the access handrail is also
metal.  The cab has a plastic guard and a reasonably detailed interior with a plastic
grab rail.  Two mirrors are fitted although they do not
have silvered surfaces so they are not so realistic.

The boom and stick are metal castings with hydraulic
piping with rubber hydraulic hoses running from the body up the boom
and across to the stick.  They look good..  The
plastic cylinder jackets have a good colour match
						compared to the metal parts.

The crusher tool is metal with nice detailing.

 Features

The tracks roll well on a rough surface and are mounted on spring-loaded
idlers that provide tension and allow them to be removed.

 The model rotates smoothly.

The boom and stick have a good range
of movement although the height is a little restricted.  The hydraulic
cylinders are stiff so the model can be posed in any
						position.

The crusher can be angled and rotated on the stick.  The
jaws can also be opened and closed although they are
						very stiff.

 Quality

This is a robust model from Conrad with a high metal content.

 The Cardem paint finish is
good and the graphics are sharp.

 Price

The model is fair value for a limited edition.

 Overall

This is a good looking Cardem branded demolition
machine which has some improved detailing compared to
earlier versions of the model.  It poses well with
other models in the same colour scheme.

 Footnotes

This model was released in February 2014 in a run of 200
						models.
