Excellent steering.
On the road.
Boom adopts a convincing transport position.
Outriggers out.

Goes well with a truck mixer.
Rams are stiff enough to hold any pose.
Realistic model.

The Schwing S 36 X has a vertical reach of 35.3m and a horizontal reach of 31.3m.  Depending on the pump it has an output of up to 160m.

It is mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6x4 chassis.

The model comes in a Schwing Stetter branded box and it is wrapped in foam rubber.

The review model had no defects or missing parts.

There is no information about the real machine or the model.  The only assembly is to fit door mirrors and a roof aerial.

The transmission and suspension is modelled largely in plastic, with the steering modelled for functionality.  The wheels look good although the tyres appear the same on all axles.

The Arocs cab has door mirrors and an aerial, and the interior is fairly basic, but at the front the grille looks good.  There are no number plates as this is a generic model.

The front outrigger beams are simple single stage plastic as are the rear beams.  The pad pistons are screw threads.

The body sides have panel details within the casting and there some textured walking surfaces on top.   There is a spare wheel and the pump tubes are metal. handrails are metal and look good. At the back the hopper has a grille and there is a painted control panel.

The boom is metal with a rubber hose at the end, and the pipework is metal too.  The colour match on the plastic hydraulic rams jackets is good.

The front axle has excellent steering with a very good range of movement and the rear axles have some suspension movement.

The outriggers pull out and the pads can be screwed down and will support the model off the wheels.

The articulated boom opens and rotates and the full range of movement of the original machine can be replicated.  It is stable with the outriggers out.

This is a sturdy model as you would expect from Conrad, with a high metal content.

The white paint is good and the relatively few graphics are very sharp.

It is fair value for money.

This is concrete pump model is very functional, and the placing boom performs well.  In other respects it is a simpler model, but very robust.

This model with an Arocs cab was first announced at the time of the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2016.
