 | Eurovia box. | | | Writing, shovelling or spreading? | | Good to have an operator for the Vogele paver. | | The full crew at work. | | Watching the Hamm roller. |
| This figure set wears the colours of Eurovia which is a subsidiary of the VINCI Group.
Packaging
The figures come in a branded box and are packed well within a plastic tray with a clear former over the top.
The review set was undamaged.
Detail
The figures are hand painted and have poses related to laying asphalt. One of the figures is in a seated position and can be used on models with an open operator's seat.
The painting is very good and on their hi-visibility vests Eurovia is printed in extremely small but legible text.
Features
The five standing figures will hold stand correctly on a flat surface. They fall over easily however, so a tiny amount of plastic putty applied to one foot can be used to secure them, or they can be glued to a small clear card.
Quality
Conrad has produced well made figures without any easily broken detail. Paintwork and graphics are very good.
Price
The set is a little pricey, but this probably reflects the amount of handwork involved.
Overall
A set like this adds interest to a model display and gives a sense of scale. It is easy to recommend.
Footnotes
The set appeared in 2011 and was made in a run of 300.
