This DVD is by Steven Vale and is a Region 2,4 PAL video in English.

The subject matter is the largest demolition excavators and a variety of machines are covered in both the UK and Europe, with booms up to 90m.  Among the base machines are the Hitachi ZX870 and EX1200, Caterpillar 385 and 5110B, and a Liebherr R984C.  In addition to the high reach machines there is footage of machines with massive scrap shears.

As the machines are often heavily modified from the base machines there is a good description of the changes made, and there is an interview with one of the people that carries out these modifications.  Interviews with owners and operators are also featured.

There is plenty of film of the machines in action and really the only thing missing is some scenes showing how the machines are moved from site to site.

The film quality is very good and it is matched by the sound recording which allows all the sounds of the machines and their work to be heard well.

Overall, this is a highly recommended DVD for anyone wanting to see good quality film of a variety of large demolition machines in action.  For most people, watching this DVD is a lot easier than trying to see the machines in real life.
