This DVD is presented by Steven Vale and is a Region 2,4 PAL video in English, with some brief interviews in Dutch which are subtitled.  It is published by T&V Films which has been set up by Jonathon Theobald and Steven Vale, and this DVD is the first in a series of 'Earthmoving Trails'.

The narrative follows a river in Holland as it heads towards the coast and on the way a number of locations are visited where many different machine types are filmed.

Among the large number of machines shown are the Terex O&K RH120-E, the Komatsu PC3000 and Cat 777D.  There are also machines working around watercourses and on barges including the Cat 385CL Long Reach, Cat 385 LRE 'Special' and Hitachi EX1200 Super XXL. The filming includes the machines at work, some in-cab filming, and a few interviews of site personnel.

Also included is some unusual haulage, the Volvo FMX 'Special' and Volvo A30F Beco Maxim 600.

The film quality is good and the machine sounds are recorded although the volume is perhaps a little on the low side.  There is plenty of content at around two hours overall length, however the pace is leisurely.

Overall, this is a good DVD for anyone wanting to see a variety of machines in action and tying separate sites together through the river journey is an interesting approach.  The best aspect is the large number of machine types filmed.
