The Develon DL 420 CVT Wheel Loader has
an operating weight of 24 tonnes.
This version of the model is in
a limited edition colour scheme
for Bauma 2025.
Packaging
The model comes in a
windowed box with Develon branding. It is
protected within a pair of
plastic formers.
The review model had no missing parts or defects.
There are some technical
spefications about the real
machine on the box.
Detail
The undercarriage is
reasonably simple underneath and
the axles are detailed. The
plastic wheels are
well detailed and the tyres have a good tread pattern.
At the rear there is a fine mesh
grille and a fan is just visible
behind it. The
counterweight has nice lights
and chevron graphics.
There are more etched grilles on
the sides and on top of the engine
cover.
There are no hydraulics crossing
the steering pivot point but
tiny graphics add to the look.
The cab is detailed with plastic mirrors and a beacon
light on the roof. There is also a small aerial.
Handrails and ladders
are plastic parts.
The loader arm connections are
very discretely done and there
are hydraulic hoses running to
the rams. Nice graphics
are applied.
The bucket is a metal part.
Features
The wheels roll easily and there is very good steering
across the pivot point. The
rear axle also oscillates.
The bucket
hydraulics have a nice stiffness
and the bucket height is very
good with the
tipping angle and carry angle
being a little
shallow.
There are opening engine panels
which reveals a detailed engine
inside. To access the
panels the wheel arches are
hinged.
Quality
This is a nice quality model with a high metal
content and some plastic parts for detailing.
The
limited edition paint scheme looks
very attractive.
Price
It is fully priced.
Overall
This is a quality wheel loader model with some
interesting features, and the
colour scheme looks good too.
