This is a model of a 1500 tonne reactor which
was a historic move in Lithuania by Mammoet.
There is a matching
Transport Set for the reactor. The Mammoet
Store will be releasing a gantry model that will enable
the reactor to be posed being lifted.
Packaging
The model comes in a
very long Mammoet-branded box. Inside the box the
model parts are wrapped in soft paper and held within
foam.
The review model had no missing parts or defects.
A uniquely numbered Mammoet certificate is included as
well as assembly instructions.
Detail
The
reactor is a very large resin piece. At the top is
a large lifting eye with excellent silvered bolt
connections. Numerous thermowells have blanking plates
fitted. Lettering is applied in various locations
and it is sharply printed. Protection bands are
fitted to the reactor. The bottom of the reactor
has useable tailing lift points.
The reactor does not have the branding banners used for
the real move or the access platform at the top.
Two plastic transport cradles are included and they have
matching straps. They have lettering applied and a
well modelled structure.
A pair of wire lifting strops is also included.
Features
The
model can be posed being lifted or transported.
Quality
This is a large high quality resin model.
Price
The price reflects the large size of the model.
Overall
This model celebrates a historic move of a
massive reactor and it is a suitably impressive huge
piece. It can be used as a transport or lifting
load, and could also stand as part of an installation.
Footnotes

made in a run of 300 models.
