The
Nooteboom Multitrailer MCOS Semi Low Loader has
hydraulic steering and a hydraulically-adjustable load
bed.
This version of the model is one of the Nooteboom Red
Line series.
Packaging
The model comes in a Nooteboom branded box and it is
held between plastic formers.
The review model had no
defects or missing pieces.
Assembly is limited to attaching side boards on the
gooseneck if required, and chains to the ramps.
Included with the model is a Nooteboom Collector Card, although it is not uniquely
numbered. A small manual describes the real
trailer with photos included, and it also describes
features and assembly of the model.
Detail
The MCOS semi low loader is three axle unit and
the tyres are mounted on small plastic hubs which look
reasonable. There idetailing underneath including tanks
and front and rear landing legs. The central
storage boxes are plastic.
The gooseneck has a spare wheel at the front, and the
sideboards are plain. Nice graphics around the
edge include the Nooteboom name. The deck has
replica timber inlays which have bolt hole positions
detailed.
The main deck has a nice metal textured surfaces, and the
edges have tie-down loops highlighted by paint..
The two
ramps at the rear are excellent with see-through
mesh. The securing chains are nice.
The detailing at the back is very good with lights and
graphics.
Features
The rear two axles on the trailer steer and achieve a
decent angle.
The axles have fully sprung suspension.
The front landing legs are pinned and can be lowered.
The rear landing legs look like they should be able to
be rotated down, but they could not be moved on the
review model.
The model features the hydraulically adjustable load
floor of the real trailer, and this has been implemented
very well.
The side of the gooseneck box are removable to
facilitate the loading of longer loads.
The ramps fold down easily.
Quality
This is a
high quality trailer with a high metal content.
The paintwork and graphics are
very good.
Price
The model is good value considering the size.
Overall
It is interesting to see a 1:32 trailer and it will
please collectors of agricultural models particularly.
It goes really well with a tractor in the same colours.
Perhaps more detail could have been provided given the
size, and it is a little surprising that no markers
boards are included.
Footnotes
The
model was announced at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2018
and became available in October of that year. It
was also produced in other colours.
