This is a model of an Autoclave pressure vessel of the type used in heavy
manufacturing process plants. It is modelled after
a real version weighing 160 tonnes.
it is
made of high quality printed plastic.
Packaging
The model
set comes in a simple plain box with the model wrapped
in paper and bubble sheet.
The review model had no missing parts or defects.
Detail
The autoclave is a large piece.
The stands have flat bottoms and the geometry is very
good as all stands are equally grounded. They have
a ribbed internal structure.
At one end the lid is modelled well including small
lifting eyes which have properly formed eyes.
The outside has a very slight ribbed finish consistent
with being printed, with the overall look being very
good. There are numerous pipe ends with red blanking
plates. Lifting points are modelled at each end.
At the other end there is some very nice bold head
detailing around the end cap.
There are no graphics applied.
Features
The autoclave is an effective looking load for suitable
heavy haulage and it sits well on its supports.
It can be lifted using the lifting points and its low
weight makes it very suitable for use with appropriate crane models.
Quality
Although it is plastic it looks very good and the
printed manufacture is only visible on very close
inspection..
Price
It is not cheap but it is a large model.
Overall
This is another very good looking industrial load by MSM for use with heavy
haulage and crane models.
