Kleemann is part of the
Wirtgen Group and it manufactures crushers and
screening plant.
The MOBICAT MC 110i EVO2 is a mobile jaw crusher. It
weighs a maximum of 49 tonnes and can process up to 400 tonnes/hour.
The machine is aimed at contractors and can be used for
natural stone or recycling.
Packaging
The model comes in a
Kleemann branded box and is enclosed
between expanded polystyrene trays.
The review model had no missing parts or defects.
The box has information about the real machine and a
couple of
photographs. Small bags contain some spare track links
and parts to be fitted.
Detail
The metal tracks have triple grouser shoes and the track
frames have graphics and includes working rollers.
The feed hopper is metal. Springs are modelled as
smooth cylinders rather than with texture. Underneath the pre-screen is a
transverse rubber belt running to a side conveyor.
Metal stairs and handrails rise up to the access
platform
and the crusher jaws are modelled well with an etched
safety screen on top. A light pole and beacon
light add to the working pose.
The engine cover has solid textured grilles with
highlighted panel handles and sharp graphics. Stairs
are metal as are the handrails, which are a little on
the thick side.
The rubber discharge belt runs from underneath the body up the conveyor frame which is metal. A
magnetic separator belt hangs from a frame.
Features
The tracks roll and are spring loaded to keep
tension.
The
safety screen over the crusher jaws can be opened.
The covers on each side can be opened to give access to
the fly wheels and crusher drive belt.
The main conveyor belt end can
be folded to lower the transport headroom. The
light poles are also removable to lower the headroom.
The side belt can be rotated to a transport position.
However, a warning sheet advises there is a risk of
breakage and in reality this feature is too delicate to
be recommended for use.
Quality
This is a good quality model with
a high metal content.
The paint is very good and the graphics are sharp.
Price
It is reasonable value.
Overall
This is a good looking model of a Kleemann crusher and
has some very good details and some nice functionality.
But extreme care is needed with the side conveyor.
