The
Kleemann MOBISCREEN MSS 802(i) EVO is a mobile screening
plant with two screen decks. It can process up to 500 tonnes
of material per hour. The machine is readily
transportable and has a weight between 30.0 - 38.5 tonnes
depending on configuration.
Packaging
The model comes in a Kleeman
branded box which has a high quality photos and technical information
about the real machine in both English and German.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review
model.
There
is no assembly required.
Detail
The undercarriage has metal tracks, and the
track frames have working rollers.
The hopper
has metal sides, with the structures on the outside
are modelled well. A smooth rubber belt is inside.
The engine compartment has excellent grilles and
sharp graphics, and the screen is metal with a
deflectors hanging on chains. The
light poles are realistically thin. The access platforms
and handrails are metal, albeit appearing slightly thick
for the scale.
The discharge conveyors have textured rubber belts
detailed support structures.
Features
The tracks are tight but can be rolled.
The screen box can be lowered for the transport mode,
and raised for operations.
The feed hopper slides up from the transport position,
and the hopper sides can fold up into an operational
position.
The side discharge belts are completely folded for
transport.
The mechanisms are engineered well and the belts fold
out into an operational mode.
The oversize conveyor can be folded partially into a
transport mode.
There is an opening panel which gives a view of the
engine detail.
The model makes a good transport load.
It is slightly compromised as the light poles are not
telescopic so cannot be lowered, and an access platform
and the hopper sides are slightly wide. In
practice the look is still very good.
Quality
This is a high quality model with a high metal content.
The paint finish is very good and there are
sharp graphics.
Price
It is reasonably priced in the market at the time of its
release.
Overall
This one poses well with related models and makes a very
good heavy haulage load.
