Detail
This is a heavy model with a relatively low plastic content. Underneath, the chassis is fully detailed in metal with only the steering being functionally modelled. The tyres have a decent tread pattern and it is the same on all wheels.
The cab has horns and an aerial on the roof, and another small aerial and a plastic grab rail on the driver's side. The door mirrors have some texture and the distinctive Arocs grille is modelled with a realistic appearance. There is a dummy NZG number plate front and rear and there are some tiny Mercedes-Benz graphics which are fairly sharp.
Inside the cab, the seats have arm rests and there is the Mercedes-Benz logo on the steering wheel.
Behind the cab the air intake is modelled in plastic. The wheel arches are metal throughout and the light bar at the rear has nice plastic lenses.
The Meiller tipper body is metal with a single stage hydraulic ram. The mechanisms for the opening sides are modelled but are not functional.
Features
The truck rolls well and the steering can be posed to a very good angle.
The tipper body raises to a moderate good angle.
The tailgate opens but is not free-swinging.
Quality
It is well made model with a high metal content.
The paint and graphics are very good.
Price
It is reasonable value.
Overall
This is another good quality Arocs tipper model with a striking colour scheme.
