Looks good on a suitable trailer.

The Genie GS-4390 RT Scissor Lift has a maximum working height of 14.75m / 49ft.   It has a lift capacity of 680kg / 1500lbs.

This model is 1:32 scale.

Genie is part of Terex.

The model comes in a Genie branded box and is protected with some soft paper, and contained in a pair of expanded polystyrene trays.

There were no missing parts or defects on the review model.

There is no information about the model or the real machine.

The chassis is simply modelled with a plastic baseplate, but a nice touch is that engine parts can just be seen.  The wheels have detail on the outer faces, and nice small rough terrain tyres.  The outriggers are mounted in plastic boxes with screw thread pistons and nicely shaped pads.  The lifting / towing points at each end are solid instead of with holes.

The metal cabinets on each side have the panels detailed in the casting and the graphics are sharp.  Plastic access ladders rise up to the platform.

The scissors are metal with small pinned connections.  The hydraulic ram has a simple plastic jacket.

The platform has an entirely metal structure with nice handrails, although the portable control box is not modelled.  The diamond pattern platform floor is very good.

The front axle steers with a decent range of movement, and it is also a mildly oscillating axle for rough terrain work.

The outriggers can be lowered.

The scissors extend smoothly and will hold any height.  The fully extended height is slightly short of the scaled height of the real machine.  Locking bars can be moved into position at full extension, and pins can be used to lock the movement of the scissors on the rails.

The platform is extendible at both ends and it slides smoothly.

This is a relatively heavy model with a high metal content.

The graphics and paintwork are very good.

It is good value when obtained from Genie Merchandise.

This is another robust model in NZG's series for Genie.  It has nice functionality. A few graphics to replicate the safety notices on the real machine would have added to the detail.

The model was announced in September 2019.
