The
Deere E360 LC Excavator has an operating weight of
around 36 tonnes.
Packaging
The model comes in a Deere branded box. Inside the box, the
model is held in place by twist ties.
The review model had
no defects or missing parts.
No information is provided about the real machine.
Detail
Looking underneath, there is
little detail with a plastic base plate on the
undercarriage, but the underside of the body has some
panels detailed in the casting. The track frames have
graphics to add detail, but there are no working rollers. The tracks
are metal with detailed pads.
Outside the operator's cab the mirror
and grab rails are plastic but they are a little too
thick for the scale. The interior detail is good.
Behind the cab the grilles are formed by graphics, and
there are small warning signs on the counterweight.
On the side there are plastic hand rails and mirrors
but again they are too thick.
The engine cover has textured surfaces and hydraulic hoses run to the slewing motor
in the centre.
The boom
has hydraulic hoses running to it from inside
the body, and the boom top has pipes modelled within the
casting. Some hydraulic hose connectors are modelled.
The ram jackets are plastic and the connection pins are
small.
The
bucket has detailing within the casting and large silver
headed rivets connect it to the stick.
Features
The tracks are tensioned by spring-loaded idlers
and they turn easily enough by hand, and roll on a
rough surface.
Rotation of the body is very smooth with no rocking.
The boom, stick and bucket have a good range of
movement, although digging at depth is restricted. The rams are stiff and will hold any pose.
Quality
This is a solidly made model with a quality
feel.
The paintwork and graphics are very good.
Price
It is understood to be reasonably priced.
Overall
This is a decent model Doosan
e360, and it poses well with other models.
Footnotes
