This Zoomlion Concrete Truck Mixer model is badged as
the 10m³ capacity version. T
It is in the unusual scale of 1:38.
Packaging
The model comes in an Zoomlion branded box with a carry
handle. Inside
it, the model is contained within clear plastic formers.
It is secured to the base with twist ties which are
frustrating to remove.
The review model had no defects or missing parts.
A pointer tool is provided with the model, and the only
assembly is adding the chute extension.
Detail
The truck chassis is detailed with the transmission
modelled and various tanks.
The wheels are plastic and look good, although the tyres are the same on
all axles, and they have a simple tread pattern.
The cab is branded as a Hino 700 and the grille, lights, and
plastic mirrors look good. The interior detail is good also.
There is no number plate as this is a generic model.
Behind the cab is a metal water tank, with a hose
running to it, and it has a water gauge on one side.
The drum is metal. It has a detailed access hatch,
and the graphics are very sharp.
At the back there are plastic access stairs on both
sides. The loading hopper is very nicely modelled.
The chute is metal, and there is a metal extension chute
which has a magnet incorporated so it sticks to the top
of the wheel arch, which is a very nice touch.
At the bottom the light holder and protection bar is
metal, and the lights have plastic lenses.
Features
The model rolls well, and the steering achieves a very
good angle.
The cab has doors which open and shut. It also tilts to reveal a
detailed plastic engine.
The drum spins smoothly.
The chute rotates smoothly.
The extension chute can be clipped on.
Quality
It has a high metal content with some plastic
used. The quality level is very good.
The paintwork and graphics are also very good.
Price
It is good value overall.
Overall
Although it is in an unusual scale it does pair
up well with the Zoomlion concrete pump which is
available in the same scale. It is a nice model in
an attractive colour scheme.
