This Zoomlion
Concrete Truck Mixer model is the 10m³ capacity
version.
It is in the unusual scale of 1:38.
Packaging
The model comes in an Zoomlion branded box with a carry
handle. Inside
it, the model is contained within expanded polystyrene
trays which clip together.
The review model had no defects or missing parts.
A pointer tool is provided with the model, and the only
assembly is adding the chute extension.
Detail
The truck chassis is
very detailed with the transmission modelled and various tanks.
The wheels are plastic and look good, although the tyres are the same on
all axles, and they have a simple tread pattern.
The cab is branded as a
Shacman M3000S and the grille, lights, and plastic
mirrors look good. The interior detail is good also.
There is a ZL 2021 number plate.
Behind the cab is a metal water tank, with a hose
running to it.
The drum is metal. It has a detailed access hatch,
and the graphics are very sharp.
At the back there are plastic access stairs on both
sides. The loading hopper is very nicely modelled
with texture detail.
The chute is metal, and there is a metal extension chute
which has a magnet incorporated so it sticks to the top
of the wheel arch, which is a very nice touch.
At the back the light holder and protection bar is
metal, and the lights have plastic lenses.
Features
The model rolls well, and the steering achieves a
moderate angle. Moving the steering also rotates
the steering wheel slightly.
The cab has doors which open and shut. It also tilts to reveal a
detailed plastic engine.
The drum spins smoothly.
The chute rotates smoothly.
It has a flap which can be lowered for transport mode. The extension chute can be clipped on.
Quality
It has a high metal content with some plastic
used. The quality level is very good.
The paintwork and graphics are also very good.
Price
It is good value overall.
Overall
This is a nice model
and the Zoomlion livery is an attractive colour scheme.
It goes very well with other Zoomlion models in the
concrete sector.
