Manufacturing Company of Ohio.
Packaging
The set comes in
a thin branded box, with the trailer held in plastic
formers.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review
set.
There is no information included. However, assembly is
limited to fitting the headboard. Straps and
chains are included.
Detail
The trailer has a detailed and authentic
looking structure underneath. The metal wheels are
detailed and they have decent tyres mounted on them.
The axles have various
lines running to them and there is a detailed suspension
system. Realistic looking mud flaps and a couple of
toolboxes complete the arrangements at the axles, and
painted light clusters are provided at the rear.
A pair of detailed landing legs is provided which have
tiny graphics and a turning handle. The deck of the
trailer has a realistic texture with inlaid wood effect
plastic. More tiny graphics are provided along the
trailer structure.
A set of twelve chains for securing loads is included,
and also provided is a realistic set of tie-downs which
can be used to make realistic poses with loads. The
canvas strapping is replicated using rubber bands, and
the clips enable the tie-downs to be secured to the
trailer bed.
Features
The headboard
can be removed if required.
The suspension on the rear axles works.
The landing legs are adjustable as they have hidden
screw threads within.
Loads can be secured with the included chains and
straps.
The trailer kingpin fits best with Sword Model tractors,
but it poses reasonably well with tractors from other
model makers.
Quality
This model has a very high metal content
and is well made.
The paint and graphics are very good.
Price
The price reflects the quality of the model.
Overall
This is a nice addition to a collection of US trailers
and is flexible with regards to the loads that can be
displayed. The tie-down straps and chains are a
worthwhile addition.
Footnotes
The trailer was first announced in August 2020.
