Too nice to haul containers!

This truck is a Scania R Topline 6x2 +  Combi Trailer.

The model is in the colours of the Belgian company Geuens Machinehandel.  It is decorated as a show truck and is used for transporting machines to tractor-pulling events.

The box is a standard WSI style and inside the model is contained within a tray with a clear lid.

There were no defects or missing parts on the review model.

There is no information about the real truck and the only parts to be fitted are optional container locks.

The 6x2 Scania has a very good chassis with the parts modelled in metal, including thin wall side skirts.  The wheels are very detailed with different tyres on the steering and driven axles.

The cab modelling is exceptionally good and the Geuens paintwork is beautiful.  There are two Michelin men on the roof and the mirrors are decorated too. There is a very nice tractor-pulling graphic on the back.

The inside of the cab is nicely detailed with a two-tone finsh.

The deck has a high quality plastic replica timber and graphics-applied diamond plated surfacing, and the skirts have many tiny lights attached.

At the back the lights have plastic lenses and a number plate.  There is also a plastic clip-type towing hitch.

The Combi trailer is very good and it also has a high metal content.  The finish matches the quality of the truck.

The steering on the Scania has a good range of movement so it poses in a more interesting way.

The cab tilts fully to reveal the detailed engine.

The trailer has sprung suspension on both axles, and the front axle can also be raised and clipped out of service.

The tow bar length is adjustable and can be pinned.

Container locks can be fitted to the truck and trailer and they provide a stable position for WSI-made 20 foot containers.

WSI has produced a very high quality model with a high metal content.

The paintwork and graphics are excellent.

The model is reasonable value for a desirable limited edition.

This truck and trailer combination is decorated to show truck standards and as such it is a beautiful presentation piece.

The model first appeared in July 2017.
