Scania R6 + Nooteboom 3-axle Low Loader - Lazzaroni  [Youku video]
Usual WSI box.
Limited steering angle, but the cab looks great.
Detailed wheel arches.
Tilting cab with engine.
Inlaid panels on the gooseneck.

Highlighted bolts on the access panels.
Super Scania.
Extended deck carrying beams.
Deck width extensions.

The tractor is a Scania R6 Topline 6x2 and the trailer is a Nooteboom Euro-PX 3-axle Low loader.

It is in the colours of Lazzaroni, an Italian company.

Packaging

The packaging is the usual WSI-branded windowed box.

There were no defects or missing parts on the review model.

Included with the model are a few parts to add in various configurations.  There is a nice leaflet describing the trailer model, and with information about the real trailer.

Detail

The Scania tractor has a detailed chassis with the usual high standard of detailing for a WSI model.

The cab has a nice light bar on the roof, and there is a realistic number plate and fleet number.  The Lazzaroni colour scheme and graphics is very attractive.

Under the cab is a detailed engine.

Coiled lines and anti-slip surfacing adds detail behind the cab, and at the back the lights have plastic lenses.

The trailer is made up of the gooseneck, the flatbed and 3-axle module.

The gooseneck is a metal part.  The control console on the left side has tiny graphics showing controls and gauges.  At the rear a set of hoses / cables are ready to plug into the deck section.  Marker boards can be clipped underneath.

The 3-axle module features a deep central trough which is an advantage of this trailer design so that the boom of a transported load can be folded low.  There is nice highlighting of the bolt heads on the access plates above the wheel sets.  A marker board assembly can be added on top, and a plate can be added to the rear of the trough.

There is a detailed surface on the flat bed with plastic timber decking which has the screw pattern visible.  Tiny plastic fold-out supports for timber edge extensions are modelled, and the planks are included also.  Holes for deck posts are provided, and the metal posts are included with the model also.

Features

The Scania has linked steering with a limited range of movement.

The cab tilts forward to about 45° and can pose in the tilted position.

The gooseneck has stiff working cylinders so different angles can be set.  A spacer piece is provided for use when connecting to the deck section.

The module has very good independent suspension and the steering has a good range of movement.

The deck can be configured with deck posts and extra plastic timbers to extend the width.

The deck is also extendible.

Quality

This model is high quality with plastic used appropriately.

The paintwork and graphics are to a high standard.

Price

It is reasonable value.

Overall

The Lazzaroni colour scheme is certainly striking so this is a very attractive limited edition model. It has the usual high standard of detailing and functionality.
