MAN TGX XLX + Nooteboom MCO PX 5-axle - Michielsens  [Youku video]
WSI box.
Impressive MAN.
Detailed chassis.
Trailer is very detailed underneath.
Detailed deck surface.
High detail.
Trailer extended.
Long load.

The tractor is a MAN TGX XLX 6x42 + Nooteboom MCO PX 5-axle Semi Low Loader.

It is in the colours of Michielsens the Belgian transport and crane hire company.

The packaging is the usual WSI-branded windowed box.

There were no defects or missing parts on the review model.

Included with the model is a good quality manual which describes the real Nooteboom trailer and includes photos of it, and the main features of the model trailer are also described.

The MAN chassis is very detailed with the exhaust and tanks modelled, and different tyres front and rear.  They are mounted on detailed wheels.

The cab has beacon lights on the roof and colour coded mirrors.   At the front there is a warning board and a realistic number plate.   The MAN grille looks very good and there is a hook graphic graphic on the cab doors.

Inside the cab, the details are reasonable.  Under the cab is a very detailed engine.

Behind the cab, there is cabinet with coiled lines.  Diamond plated surfacing extends to the fifth wheel.  At the back, the lights have plastic lenses and there is a number plate.

The trailer is assembled as one piece.

The gooseneck has fixed sides with the Michielsens name, and there is a spare wheel at the front.  There are some excellent tiny graphics on the control console on the left side.  The underneath of the gooseneck is also very detailed with hoses and tanks.

The trailer is very detailed underneath and includes hoses, tanks and wheel chocks.  There are tiny graphics along the deck edge and there is very nice highlighting of the bolt heads on the access plates above the pendle axles.  The detailing at the back is also excellent.

Tiny plastic extension beams for supporting timber edge extensions are modelled, and the replica timbers are included, and holes for deck posts are provided.  The metal posts are included with the model also.

The MANs steering has a decent range of movement.

The cab tilts forward to about 45 and can pose in the tilted position.

The gooseneck has working cylinders so different angles can be set.

Marker boards under the gooseneck can be extended or retracted.

The axles have very good proportional steering on axles 2 to 5, and axles 3 to 5 have sprung suspension.

Axles 1 and 2 can be raised out of service with a good ground clearance.

The deck is extendible.

The deck can be configured with deck posts and extra plastic timbers to extend the width.

This model is very high quality.

The paintwork and graphics are to a high standard.

The model is reasonable value.

This is another high quality truck model from WSI.  It would pose well with a crane in the Michielsens colour scheme

The model appeared in September 2018.
