The tractor is a Scania R Normal CR20N 6x2 Twin Steer, and the
trailer is a Broshuis 2Connect Combi 2+3-axle.
It is in the colours of Meijering Transport of the
Netherlands.
Packaging
The packaging is the usual WSI-branded
windowed box.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review
model.
Included with the model is a certificate with a unique
serial number which adds to the collectibility.
Detail
The Scania tractor has a very detailed chassis with
different tyres on the driven and steering axles.
The cab has
a basket on the roof, and a nice light bar and
headboard. There is a realistic
number plate and high detail provided by tiny graphics
including one in the corner of the windscreen. The
Scania is attractive in the Meijerings colour scheme.
Under the cab is a detailed engine, and twin chrome
exhaust pipes look impressive.
There are coiled
lines and excellent diamond plating surrounds the fifth
wheel, with excellent wheel arches also.
The Broshuis 2Connect Combi trailer is made up of 2 axle and 3 axle sets.
They have similar construction with detailed axles and
structural frame. There are also detailed control
boxes, and very nicely detailed light bars at the back.
The wheels are highly decorated in two colours.
The metal containers are excellent with ribbed surfaces
and the graphics are applied over the ribs expertly.
At the back there are highlighted locking bolts and many
excellent graphics.
A very nice touch is that the numbering of the
containers is different on each one.
Features
The Scania has linked steering
with a limited range of movement.
The cab tilts forward to about 45° and can pose in the
tilted position.
A decorated cover can be fitted on to the fifth wheel.
The trailer units have axles with sprung suspension.
The two axles on the front unit have a small steering
movement which was stiff on the review model, and
the last axle of the three axle unit also has a small
steering movement. Landing legs can be lowered,
and the two axle unit has optional support legs for when
parked.
The trailer can be configured as a five axle rigid
trailer or as separate units.
The containers can be left off or fitted. When
fitted they are secure and do not slide about.
Quality
This model is high quality with little plastic used.
The paintwork and graphics are excellent.
Price
It is reasonable value.
Overall
This is a highly detailed and attractive model, with
flexibility in how it can be posed.
