This tractor model is a Mercedes-Benz Arocs MP4 SLT 8x4 with
Ballast Box.
It is in the colours of
the Belgian company
Van Egdom.
Packaging
The packaging is the usual WSI-branded
windowed box.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review
model.
There is no information about the real truck
or model.
Detail
The chassis is highly detailed with different tyres on the front and rear axles. They are mounted on
detailed wheels.
There
are two Michelin Men on the roof and there is a light bar
with beacon lights. There is a large Convoi
Exceptionnel sign and the Arocs grille is excellent.
A realistic number plate, chevron graphics and Belgium
printed on the mud flaps completes the detail.
There is also a towing hitch.
Inside the cab, the
seats and controls are modelled. Under the cab is a detailed engine.
Behind the cab, the
equipment tower ihas small tanks are modelled and there
is non-removable ladder. There
are coiled lines and a textured plate.
At the back, the lights have plastic
lenses and there is a number plate and a towing hitch.
The ballast box is a metal part with nice
decoration at the rear. The tarpaulin
cover is realistically modelled.
There are excellent graphics across the model although
the horizontal dotted line was not at the same level
front to back.
Features
The linked steering has a small range of
movement, and it was
a little loose on the review model.
The cab tilts to a moderate angle, and can be posed
tilted.
The ballast box can be attached or left off.
Standard WSI trailers can be connected to the fifth
wheel if desired.
Quality
This model is very high quality.
The paintwork and graphics are to a
very high standard.
Price
The model is fully priced as a limited edition.
Overall
This is a very good looking heavy haulage tractor with
some pleasing details.
