This XCMG Schwing Stetter 8x4 Concrete Truck Mixer has a large capacity drum.

TXCMG owns Schwing Stetter.

Packaging

The model comes in an XCMG Schwing Stetter branded box and inside it, the model is contained within a pair of expanded polystyrene trays.  The model is covered with soft paper.

The review model had no defects or missing parts.

A pointer tool is provided with the model.  There is no information about the real truck.

Detail

The truck chassis is detailed with the transmission modelled and various tanks.  The wheels are plastic and look good, although the tyres are the same on all axles, and they have a simple tread pattern.

The cab is nicely detailed with graphics on the sun visor, and the grille, lights, and plastic mirrors look good.  The interior detail is good also.  There is no number plate as this is a generic model.

Behind the cab is a metal water tank, with a hose running to it.  There is also a hose running to the drum drive motor.

The drum is metal.  It has a detailed access hatch, and the graphics are very sharp.

At the back there are plastic access stairs on both sides.  The loading hopper is very nicely modelled.  The chute is metal, and there is a metal extension chute which has a magnet incorporated so it sticks to the top of the wheel arch, which is a very nice touch.

At the bottom the light holder and protection bar is metal, and the lights have plastic lenses.

Features

The model rolls well, and the steering achieves a moderate angle.  The steering is linked with the steering wheel in the cab, and it moves slightly when the wheels are steered.

The cab doors open and shut.  It tilts to reveal a detailed plastic engine.

The drum spins smoothly.

The chute rotates smoothly.  The extension chute can be clipped on.

Quality

It has a high metal content with some plastic used.  The quality level is mostly very good.

The paintwork and graphics are also very good.

Price

It is good value for a large model.

Overall

This truck mixer is well made and is impressive in 1:35 scale.  It poses well with a concrete pump model in the same scale.
