This is accessory is a hydraulic
hammer designed to fit Norscot's Caterpillar 330D L
(55199) and
336D L (55241) models.
Packaging
This model box is plain white and the parts are
packed inside black foam rubber with the hammer
contained in a resealable bag.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review
part.
There is no information about the real part, and no
instructions.
Attachment using the quick hitch mechanism on the
Caterpillar 336D L model is very straightforward.
There are two 'Caterpillar' logos supplied as transfers
which can be added if desired.
Detail
and Features
The hammer is a solid nicely made part with a detailed
diecast casing. The inner parts appear to be resin. There are a couple of
hydraulic hoses detailed inside.
The chisel moves up and down inside the tool and is also
removable by taking out the locking pin.
It fits the Caterpillar 336D L model very well and
although it is relatively heavy it does not unbalance
the model.
Quality
and Price
This is a very well made part and although it is not
cheap it is high quality.
Overall
This
is a good-looking hammer attachment which adds to the
base model.
If you want a high quality hammer attachment and can
afford the cost it is highly
recommended.
