This accessory is a set of replacement metal tracks for Conrad's Liebherr R 9800 Backhoe and Shovel.
Packaging
This box is plain white with a label and the tracks are wrapped in soft paper.
There were no defects or missing parts on the review parts.
There are no instructions although fitting the tracks presents no real difficulties for anyone with a little experience.
Detail and Features
The tracks are heavy metal parts. Each of the links is very detailed for metal with the Liebherr name embossed at the outer ends of each link.
The links are joined by twin pins and the completed tracks feel very robust.
They fit well on the base model, and offer little resistance to rolling, even on a smooth surface.
Quality and Price
These are strong nicely finished parts, and add value when fitted to a base model.
Overall
As the original Conrad R 9800 models had plastic tracks, some collectors felt that metal was more appropriate for such a large mining model. These replacement tracks from YCC fit well and add to the model both in terms of looks and weight.
