Nuremberg 2010 - Corgi
Editorial February 2010

Corgi has been under the ownership of Hornby for a couple of years, and hopefully it will move forward strongly.  It is focussed on the collector market rather than providing promotional models for OEMs.  Some of the haulage models are very suitable for collectors of construction models, and plant models are beginning to appear.  One interesting new tooling in sample form is the Ruston Bucyrus 19B although it is 1:76 scale.

The Corgi stand does business.
The Robinson's flat bed trailer will be released soon and will be good for carrying crane parts or posing with other models.
The JCB 3C and Thwaites Dumper are already released.
The Ruston RB19 looks nice and will likely be produced in different colours.  It is 1:76 scale however to fit well with Hornby railway layouts.
Scania T Dropside with Moffet Mounty and sand bag load.
It will have some functionality to enable different poses to be set.  Expect this model to appear around October or later.
