| Large Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes use a variety of sizes of hook block depending on the lifting planned. This is a model of a 15 sheave hook.
Packaging
The review hook was supplied with the LG1550 Mobile Crane model and was well wrapped in tissue and enclosed in a plastic bag.
Detail and Features
It is very well detailed with realistic cheek weights on the block bearing the Liebherr name and tiny safety bars to retain the rope on the pulleys. The tieing-off bar at the top allows three different attachment points to facilitate reeving the hook in different configurations. The metal pulleys are nicely free rolling and the hook element also rotates separately from the block. There are working safety catches on the hooks.
Quality and Price
The part is very well made and so is reasonable value for money.
Overall
This hook block will enhance any Liebherr model for which it is an appropriate size. It is also available in an alternative version with yellow and white stripes.
